The Community East office is staffed Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Sylvia Hoefer, M.A., CCC-A received her B. S. (Magna Cum Laude) in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Ball State University in 1979. She worked as a speech-language pathologist before completing her M.A. in audiology at Ball State University in 1985. She has been a practicing audiologist in the Indianapolis area for over 20 years and has experience in diagnostic and rehabilitation audiology with both pediatric and adult populations.

Hearing Center Inc. is pleased to have partnered with Community Hospital East and is the hearing health care provider the hospital relies upon when referring patients for these needs. Hearing Center Inc. specializes in hearing aids, advanced technology and hearing evaluations for all age groups. Digital hearing instruments, hearing aid repairs, assistive listening devices, alerting systems and custom fit hearing protection devices for work, music, or hunting are some of the products and services available.
